Constitution Chronology
Making a time line

To create a time line with the cards, use legal size paper as a backdrop. Make a line from left to right that bisects the paper in half. Copy the cards, make several backdrops and have students work in small groups to tape the event cards above the line in the right order. After they have sequenced the events properly, ask them to tape the date below the line beneath its matching event.
