Where Does the Time Go?
A time and goal analysis

What are your students trying to accomplish in their lives, and what is their regimen? How much time do they devote to efforts to reach their goals? Ask students to define goals, whether aca-demic, athletic or other, and track their time to see if they are devoting enough hours to achieving them. You might have them list several of their main goals in order of importance. Then have them list the main activities in their day and approximately how much time they spend on each. Do daily activities relate to goals? If not, how might they reorganize their days?
